Troop 1373 Information

Welcome!

Troop 1373 is a young troop, and was founded 2011. When the troop was founded they started with only 7 boys. Since that time we have had some older boys leave, and some younger boys join. We currently have 18 boys in the troop and are expecting new boys to cross over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts in Feb.

We are a very active troop and try to have either a camp out or hike every month. Some months may have more than one camp out. We also try to schedule group events. Throughout the year there is ample opportunity for the boys to advance in rank. Our Advancement Coordinator keeps track of the progress of each boy and reports back to the Scoutmaster.

Most Scout meetings are geared to the boys learning new skills, or brushing up on older ones.

Our Scoutmaster has many years of Boy Scout Experience , starting from when he was young. .

In addition to the Scoutmaster we also have 3 Assistant Scoutmasters. We also have several other adults that form the Troop Committee.

We are proud to announce that we now have five Eagle Scouts

We meet on Thursdays each week at the Oak Ridge Elementary School 7825 W. 103rd St in Palos Hills.
