STEM workshop (LEGO) and Pack Sleepover
Pack 368 will be hosting a STEM workshop
Friday, January 11th
in the Charlton Methodist Church gym. The STEM workshop will once again feature Brickz 4 Kids (building mechanical LEGOs) and will run from 7 - 9 pm. This event will be open to all scouts and siblings at a cost of $10 per scout and $12 per sibling. Money will be collected the night of the event.
Following the LEGO workshop, we will have a pack sleepover and be watching the LEGO Ninjago movie in the gym with popcorn being provided. If you are staying for the sleepover you are encouraged to bring an air mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, a change of clothes and toiletries, and any snacks or drinks you would like. Anyone not attending the sleepover must leave by midnight as we will be taking role call and locking the doors at that time. Those staying for the sleepover will need to be out of the church no later than 8:30 am on Saturday, January 12th.
Anyone interested in attending this event is asked to sign up using the following link:
. Please indicate the total number of youth (scout and siblings) attending so we have an accurate count to share with the LEGO presenters.
Wreaths Across America Service Project
Saturday, January 26th
, Pack 368 will be assisting Boy Scout Troop 368 in collecting the wreaths from the graves at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The wreaths were placed as part of the Wreaths Across America event on December 15th. More than likely we will meet in the parking lot of Charlton Church at 8 am and drive to the cemetery together as this project is scheduled to start at 9 am. This event is being coordinated by the Boy Scout Troop so we will provide more information as we get closer to the date.
January Pack Meeting
The January Pack Meeting will be held on
Monday, January 28th
at 6:30 pm in the Charlton Church gym. This pack meeting will feature our annual Friends of Scouting presentation as well as our Summer Camp Promotion. We will also be having a special STEM presentation, our monthly awards presentation, and a special movie presentation by the Webelos I den. We should also have pack spirit gear available at the pack meeting for anyone that ordered.
Deposits for summer camp will also be due at this pack meeting. A separate email with all the details for the various summer camp opportunities will be sent out to the pack in early January.
