Cub Scouts Explore the World


Den and Pack Field Trips (aka "The Go and Do!" )

Both individual Dens and the entire Pack may go on a field trip. Part of the Cub Scout mission is to explore the local area and to find out how things work.

Pack 566 Shoreline Bike Ride July 2019


After our safety / courtesy talk we being our bike
adventure from Shoreline Lake. Apparently we
need work on our single file line concept.
We stop occasionally to view nature at the
Baylands.

A Hike on Angle Island our April 2019 "Go and Do":

We left from the Tiberon Ferry Station and took the ferry to
and from Angle Island.

Battery Ledyard had cannons aimed at possible Confederate Ships
entering the Bay during the civil war. Part of Fort Reynolds.
This group of Pack 566er's made it to the tippie top of Angel
Island.

East garison. Fort McDonald active from
the the turn of century through WWII.
One half of the immigration center (the other half)
burnt down. Active 1910-1940 processing over 1 million emigrants.

Dec 15th,  2018 - Pack 566 Webelos Den and Siblings visit the local Fire Station.

Pack 566 Webelos I Den (4th Graders), Siblings,
and their Den Chief Advisor ( A Scout from
Troop 566). Parents not shown but there too.
Cubs learn about the life of
a fireman.
Cubs tour each part of the
firehouse and learn fire
safety.
Every part of the fire engine
is gone over in detail.
The pump is the heart of the
fire engine.

Oct 3rd, 2018 - Bear Den & siblings tour the local sheriff's office. Wolf Den repeats the following week.
